My name is Alec Tanner. I am a Sydney-based cinematographer and camera operator primarily working across narrative and documentary storytelling. Having had an interest in storytelling from a young age, I have experience working in a wide variety of mediums and genres.
My primary focus in my work is to tell emotionally resonant and impactful stories through a carefully crafted and considered visual language. I believe that the best work is made when an open and collaborative working environment is created, and I strive to bring this kind of environment to every shoot I am a part of.
